Student Supervision Policy
Elementary and Junior Division students must be supervised at all times
when they are not standing with their projects for judging. This includes
times when students are attending sessions or activities in the Gibson
Science Building.
Science Fair volunteers and staff are responsible for operating the event and
assisting with fair logistics; they are not able to provide supervision or childcare
for students.
Teachers, parents, or designated chaperones must remain responsible for
supervising students throughout the event when they are not actively
participating in judging.
If a student becomes disruptive or is unable to follow event expectations,
the emergency contact listed for that student will be called to assist and
may be asked to come collect the student from the event.
